We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter with specific experience in the installation of hollow metal doors, frames, and finish hardware . The ideal candidate will be capable of reading and interpreting construction documents, installing doors and associated hardware with precision, and maintaining compliance with safety and security regulations, particularly those related to work on military installations .

• Install hollow metal door frames , doors, and a variety of architectural finish hardware (e.g., locks, closers, panic devices, hinges, kick plates).
• Verify field measurements and ensure proper alignment and secure installation of components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Cut and drill doors/frames for hardware applications using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all components are installed correctly and function as intended.
• Work collaboratively with superintendents, other trades, and site safety personnel to complete tasks on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to company policies and military base regulations.
• Operate power tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily work logs and report any issues or material needs.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial carpentry with a focus on door and hardware installation .
• Demonstrated knowledge of Division 8 and 10 materials and specifications.
• Proficient in reading and understanding construction plans and hardware schedules.
• Strong understanding of ADA, fire code, and life safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to work on active military bases , including the ability to pass background checks and obtain base access clearance .

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain a DBIDS , or equivalent security badge for base access.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Any relevant trade certifications or hardware manufacturer training (e.g., ASSA ABLOY, Allegion) is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Standing, kneeling, and working in various positions for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.
