Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Development Project Manager to oversee one or more projects, with a deep understanding of civil site design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple projects for various clients.
  2. Prepare proposals and develop fee structures.
  3. Visit clients, job sites, and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development goals.
  4. Monitor project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  5. Oversee engineering work and collaborate with other disciplines as required.
  6. Define project scope and deliverables.
  7. Communicate and coordinate project efforts and ideas.
  8. Supervise engineers and technicians as needed.
  9. Track project progress using Vision and Microsoft Project, with intermediate/advanced proficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • 6+ years of experience in designing public and private infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in applying engineering principles across a broad range of areas.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced techniques, theories, and practices within civil engineering and related fields.
  • Ability to manage and direct large, complex projects or multiple smaller projects for select clients.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with preference for Civil 3D.
  • Strong business development and leadership skills.
  • Ability to interpret business financial information.
