Data Scientist: NLP & Text Analysis

Day 1 Onsite Elk Grove, CA / Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, TX

Long term contract

Hybrid – 3 days onsite / week

Direct client opportunity

No mid layer / No Implementation partners are involved

• We're looking for a data scientist who knows how to make text data understandable and impactful.
• This role is about uncovering insights — not just building models — and communicating them clearly.

They need:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience using Python for text analysis and NLP
• Strong skills in data visualization (Tableau is preferred; Python is ok)
• Familiarity with SQL is a plus In this role, they will:
• Analyze and interpret text data using NLP techniques
• Focus on generating insights that humans — not just algorithms — can use
• Build visualizations that clearly communicate patterns and findings
• Collaborate with stakeholders to present insights into engaging, interpretable ways.

Skill Sets - Experience - Preference

• SQL - At least 1 year - Is Required
• Artificial Intelligence - 5-10 Years - Is Required
• Data Visualization - 5-10 Years - Is Required
• Machine Learning - 5-10 Years - Is Required
• Natural Language Processing - 5-10 Years - Is Required
• python - 5-10 Years - Is Required

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision as well as 401K contributions.
