Financial Accountant

Location: Hackettstown, NJ

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: Hybrid (remote with arranged in-person days each week)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced finance professional to join our team. You’ll oversee financial operations, ensure tax and regulatory compliance, and provide technical insight and reporting to support our mission and our growth.

IENA serves as the North American headquarters for our larger global group. We have teams in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. What You’ll Do:

• Act as the primary finance contact for all North American entities, supporting and advising the management team.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reports for North American entities.

• Oversee year-end processes including preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination with auditors.

• Lead the preparation and submission of tax schedules and regulatory filings, supported by external advisors.

• Manage the preparation of monthly Board Packs for IENA and support consolidated group reporting.

• Oversee AP/AR activities, including payment approvals and credit control with support from global operations.

• Support payroll review and compliance for North American entities.

• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded.

• Support consolidation of group financials and preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Deputize for the Global Finance Manager as needed.

• Participate in and lead special finance projects as assigned.

What You Bring:

• CPA qualified with 2+ years of experience in a similar finance role

• Strong knowledge of U.S. financial reporting standards, tax codes, and regulatory compliance

• Experience with IFRS and financial consolidation in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment

• Solid analytical skills and strong working knowledge of financial systems

• Experience working with external advisors and auditors

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience consolidating a global group with a U.S. Holding Company

• Managing regulatory compliance across U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions

• Experience converting between GAAP/IFRS and local standards
