GREER Interior Design is a high-end residential design studio seeking a Junior Designer with 1-3 years experience. We are looking for a vibrant and talented candidate to add to our team! In this collaborative role, you will work closely with GREER's design team on a variety of large scale residential projects. This is a full time, in-office position located in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
• Develop unique and innovative ideas tailored to client's needs & specific projects
• Sourcing and specifying high-end furnishings, fabrics, finishes, plumbing, etc.
• Design custom furniture and millwork
• Work closely with Principal Designer on all phases of the projects
• Direct communication with client
• Draft furniture plans and elevations in AutoCAD
• Create FFE quotes and budgets in Excel
• Obtain and manage custom quotes from vendors
Qualifications:
• Strong project management skills including closely managing budgets, schedules, and correspondence with all consultants
• AutoCAD proficiency required including the ability to draft construction documents
• Organized with the ability to multitask
• Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Bachelors degree in Interior Design OR an Associate's degree with good work experience
• Must be located in Austin, TX
