Spectrum Staffing Group is partnering with a full-service real estate acquisition company to hire a Maintenance Tech for a portfolio of single-family homes in the DFW area, focusing on the following counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin, and Kaufman County.

Role Details:

• 100% fieldwork
• Direct Hire with excellent benefits and a competitive base salary
• $1,000/month car allowance
• Must have your own truck/van and tools

Responsibilities:

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general handy work, including drywall repairs
• Repair or replace water heaters and garage doors
• A typical day involves receiving work orders, prioritizing them, planning the routes, and then driving to each home to complete the tasks
• Handle straightforward repairs like changing faucets and light fixtures, as well as more complex tasks like drywall repairs and leak detection
• Communicate with tenants and the corporate office, mainly responding to maintenance coordinator requests
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and manage tasks using CMMS like AppFolio

Requirements:

• EPA Universal Certification is REQUIRED.
• 3+ years of experience in light HVAC, medium plumbing, and light electrical work
• Experience with CMMS, particularly AppFolio preferred
• Strong independent work and schedule management skills
