Summary

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for reviewing suppliers, comparing costs, building relationships, and recommending sound decisions on cost savings and strategy for purchasing.

Key Activities

• Qualifying and tracking incoming materials.
• Preparing receiving reports for production and inventory control.
• Monitoring, testing, and packaging supplies.
• Assist with coordinating finished goods preparation and load shipment schedule.
• Working directly with the Plant Manager and Supervisors.- The position would involve being a liaison between the Supervisors and the Plant Manager. As the candidate develops, they would be providing direction to the Supervisors to execute the Plant Manager’s daily plan.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Windows / Excel / Outlook / Word / (Access).
• Bilingual (Spanish).

Educations & Experience

• Working knowledge of various materials to include: PET, PVC, PE, PETG,PP, HIPS, ABS, OPS, PLA.
• Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
