Job Title: Planner-Execution Planning

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will create detailed production schedules for the manufacturing facilities that align with the goals of safety and quality to meet the business goals of AM/NS Calvert.

The Basics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering; or 2+ years of experience in Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Management, or Production Planning
  • Proficient with Microsoft products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Understanding of manufacturing product flow, data flow, manufacturing constraints and objectives in the order life cycle

The Extras:

  • Experience in continuous production environment
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Experience with MRP Planning systems
  • Proficiency with SAP

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Production scheduling and operations planning
  • Data analysis and report generation
  • Formulating / analyzing order status and inventory reports
  • Updating and maintaining automated scheduling system
  • Generating detailed shop floor operating schedules
  • Assisting in development of work instructions and business processes
  • Monitoring and managing process associated with timely order fulfillment
  • Managing excess inventory levels to maximize turnover while ensuring high order fulfillment

  • Days with periodic weekends as required to support 7 day per week operations
