The Tigrigna is the only Black nation who are part of ancient Judio-Christian civilization. They practice a mixture of Judaism and Christianity. It is overwhelmingly majority and Indigenous in Eritrea and Tigray region of Ethiopia. And it was the original, organic, and ancient Western outpost that was a strategic ally of the Roman Empire. Portuguese empire.

The state of Eritrea is in the southern part of the Red Sea Neighboring Yemen which is about 800 miles from Israel. Israel and Eritrea are the only states in the Red Sea that are not Muslim or Arab majority. Eritrea is full of contradictions. It is the only state in the region without internal or external threats or crises, but it is the poorest and isolated. It is known as North Korea of Africa and according to many human rights organizations its dictator is world’s number one in human rights violation and freedom of press.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate  Public Relations Specialist   to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of geopolitical affairs, especially in the Red Sea region, as well as knowledge of Eritrean culture, Israel’s foreign policy, and the broader Middle Eastern and African political landscape. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the narrative around a strategic pivot that enhances the West’s interests in the Red Sea region, specifically in countering China's and Iran’s expansion while creating job opportunities and economic prosperity for Africa.

As our Public Relations Specialist, you will develop and manage communication strategies that promote Eritrea as a key ally in the Horn of Africa and communicate the strategic importance of Israel-Eritrea relations. You will also be responsible for crafting messages that emphasize the mutual benefits of Western engagement in Africa, including security, trade, and investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Media Relations : Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the USA and internationally to promote Eritrea’s strategic significance to Western interests and its relationship with Israel.

·  Strategic Communication : Develop and distribute press releases, articles, and speeches that highlight Eritrea’s role as a reliable strategic military ally in the Red Sea, Horn of Africa, and Sahl regions. Emphasize Eritrea’s historical patience, its Judeo-Christian heritage, and its unique ability to help contain the expansionist ambitions of China and Iran in the region.

·  Investment & Economic Opportunities:   Communicate the unlimited investment opportunities Eritrea offers, with a focus on infrastructure, job creation, and economic development that will elevate millions of Africans from poverty. Position Eritrea as a critical partner for the West, especially the United States, in competing with China, Russia, and other regional powers for influence in Africa.

·  Brand Messaging:   Develop a compelling narrative around Eritrea as a key partner for Western powers to ensure a secure and stable Red Sea shipping route, safeguard global trade, and prevent disruption caused by adversarial forces like Iran and China. Promote Eritrea’s potential in securing the supply of affordable consumer goods and processed food to the global market.

·  Public Outreach : Build awareness of the strategic importance of Eritrea’s role in managing and controlling immigration from Africa to the West. Communicate how partnerships with Eritrea will not only benefit the region but also mitigate challenges related to migration and security in the Mediterranean and beyond.

·  Crisis Communication : Be prepared to respond effectively to media inquiries or crises regarding geopolitical tensions in the Red Sea region or Eritrea’s relationships with regional powers.

·  Content Creation : Manage the creation of digital content across various platforms (website, social media, newsletters) to support messaging around Eritrea’s strategic importance in the Horn of Africa, economic opportunities, and Israel-Eritrea relations.

·  Advisory Role : Provide counsel to leadership on public relations strategies, helping to shape communication around Eritrea’s strategic alliances and Israel’s evolving role in the region.

Qualifications:

·  Experience : At least 5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or strategic communication, particularly in international relations or geopolitical affairs.

·  Geopolitical Knowledge : A deep understanding of the political, economic, and security dynamics of the Horn of Africa, Red Sea, Middle East, and Africa, especially concerning Western interests in countering the influence of China, Iran, and other regional expansionists.

·  Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create compelling narratives and manage high-level communication effectively.

·  Cultural Sensitivity : Deep understanding of diverse cultures, with the ability to communicate and build relationships across different cultural and geopolitical contexts, particularly with Eritrean stakeholders, the Jewish community, and Western allies.

·  Innovation & Strategic Thinking : Ability to think strategically about long-term international relations, with an emphasis on economic development, security, and global competition.

·  Digital Literacy : Proficiency in managing and creating content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.
