Job Description

React JS / UI Developer

Seeking a highly skilled and creative React JS / UI Developer to join our team to build and enhance cutting-edge customer-facing digital platforms for the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have a passion for front-end development, a keen eye for design, and proven experience delivering high-quality, scalable, and interactive user interfaces in the digital banking space.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize user interfaces for web applications using React.js and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless, responsive, and visually appealing applications tailored for digital banking users.
  • Implement and adhere to modern coding standards, ensuring clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Optimize application performance, focusing on scalability and responsiveness.
  • Integrate with APIs and microservices to deliver end-to-end solutions in digital banking platforms.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and digital banking innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI development with expertise in React.js.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous data handling.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proficiency with build tools and modern development workflows (Webpack, npm, etc.).
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Azure App Services and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Proven experience in digital banking projects, including designing interfaces for secure transactions and customer account management.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
