Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant II to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role supports a leading tech team focused on health-related features by conducting internal and external research studies. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing study approvals, protocols, participant enrollment, device setup, and data analysis .

Key Responsibilities:

• Study Support: Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of user studies—both internal and external—focused on health features. Tasks include device preparation, participant enrollment, and distribution of study materials.
• Benchtop Testing: Conduct benchtop testing of hardware and prototypes to ensure proper function and troubleshoot issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and legal teams to meet study expectations and fulfill all regulatory and operational requirements.
• Participant Management: Schedule study participants using internal tools, handle cancellations, and reschedule as needed.
• Progress Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports and study summaries to internal stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills:

• Study Support : Experience with end-to-end study coordination and execution.
• Hardware Testing : Familiarity with benchtop testing of prototypes and devices.
• Time Management : Ability to efficiently manage time to ensure availability during lab visits.
• Organizational Skills : Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excel (Basic): Proficient in data analysis and data management using Excel.

Desirable Skills:

• SRT (Single Review Tool): Experience managing and reviewing research studies .
• IRB Knowledge: Familiarity with IRB protocols for the protection of human research subjects.
• Data Collection: Experience with data gathering methods such as surveys, interviews, and observational studies.
• LaMa (Launch Manager): Experience tracking and managing research projects.
• Python: Programming experience for data analysis and visualization.
• Excel (Advanced): Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Sensors: Knowledge of sensor applications in research settings.
• Meta or Similar Experience: Experience working with tech companies like Meta, Apple, or Samsung is a plus.
