Tarvos Talent is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant for a client located in Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting process by collaborating with cross-functional teams and analyzing key financial metrics.
  • Deliver meaningful insights through variance analysis, performance reporting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting tied to rebates, incentives, and capital investments.
  • Enhance financial tools, templates, and reporting processes to streamline operations and ensure data accuracy.
  • Partner with leadership on incentive compensation analysis, investment evaluations, and compliance with internal financial policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and month-end close processes.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and strong working knowledge of : SAP and JD Edwards (required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong analytical mindset.
