Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description

· Works independently to manage existing customer accounts and establish new accounts.

· Works with customers to understand needs and expectations.

· Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and organize daily work schedules. 

· Develop technical quotations and communicate with proper language and terms of the plastic industry to customers. Receive and process orders.

· Maintain records & databases on CRM and customer sales.

· Create and communicate sales presentations.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge in the plastics industry by reviewing professional publications, attending trade shows, networking, and participating in professional societies.

  Sales Representative Qualifications/Skills:

· 5+ years of experience in the plastics molding industry, knowledge of plastic injection molds.

· Past sales experience

· Meeting sales goals

· Closing skills

· Customer relationships

· Prospecting skills

· Negotiation

· Self-confidence

· Plastic product knowledge

· Presentation skills
