Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Construction Manager to join one of our largest telecommunication carriers. This individual will be collaborating with stakeholders to establish project designs, bill of materials scope of work, deliverables and timelines. Conducting competitive bids with general contractors to procure install pricing for various projects. Developing and maintaining detailed schedules for each project and actively managing the scheduled tasks with outside vendors including major milestones, action items, long lead purchases, and any other commitments that would impact the project schedule. Analyzing implications of changes from the original schedule and taking required corrective actions to ensure the project stays on track. Coordinating and overseeing the issuance of RFQs and the evaluation of responses, based on purchasing requirements, and providing detailed analysis and recommendations for the best candidates.
Managing regional network projects related to new In Building systems. Working closely with Real Estate, Equipment Engineers and Facilities Engineers to ensure cell site construction issues are pro-actively identified and resolved and requirements are met. Working with outside vendors including General Contractors, Architectural & Engineering firms and Construction Management firms on project scope, design and plans to meet VZW standards, local code requirements and project schedules.
Managing the regional monthly cell capital plan, ensuring spending accuracy in monthly forecasting and performing monthly reconciliation of YTD monthly spending by budget item.
