Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented financial professional to manage the daily financial operations of the Money Management Institute. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial management, providing key insights through data reports, and managing administrative tasks. The Finance Manager will work closely with other team members to ensure that all financial administrative processes run smoothly and contribute to our organization's success.

As a key member of MMI’s Operations and Administration Team, this position will report directly to the Chief Administration Officer and will interact with the association’s senior management team, peer associates and MMI members.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Process and manage all financial management, including budget tracking, invoice processing, bank reconciliation and data entry

· Prepare and present annual financial statements and interim reporting

· Maintain accurate financial records within the association’s database

· Provide or facilitate advanced analytical support on various projects

· Assist with special projects as needed, including research, data analysis, and report preparation

· Participate with the team providing support to the membership by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and servicing member’s inquiries and requests

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure that finance related administrative processes are aligned with the association’s goals

· Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by demonstrating a can-do attitude, being a self-starter, and showing a willingness to learn and grow

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field

· 3 – 4 years of experience in a similar role

· Demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices and financial management skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Proficiency with accounting software (preferably QuickBooks)

· Proficiency with CRM/AMS a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE:
