Beacon Hill is partnering with a respected Denver-based law firm seeking an Associate to join their Governmental Entities Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful litigation involving public sector clients, with a strong emphasis on employment-related matters.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of litigation experience, with exposure to government representation and/or employment law. This is a great fit for a driven associate looking for courtroom experience, a collaborative team, and a manageable billable hour requirement.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of litigation experience
At least 25 depositions completed
Trial experience preferred, or experience handling disputed evidentiary hearings
Experience with employment-related litigation (e.g., discrimination, wrongful termination, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
Prior work representing governmental entities is highly preferred but not required
Background with the Colorado Attorney General's Office or Denver City Attorney's Office is a strong plus
